 The Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach is Outrigger's premier, flagship hotel on Oahu. Renovations will be in progress from September 15th through December 31, 2003. The Renovation Special or Reno roomtype is due to renovations ongoing to the upper and lower lobby levels as well as a new roof for the mezzanine/garden deck area. This 530-room deluxe hotel is perched on the silken sands of Waikiki Beach with every room boasting either a partial or full ocean view from the room's lanai. The Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach offers onsite fine dining, and it is convenient to shopping and entertainment venues. Special features includes custom designed bed coverlets, pikake scented bathroom amenities and lightweight robes for comfort and pleasure. Guests can also immerse themselves in an endless array of ocean activities, stay in shape in the hotel's fitness room, experience first-hand the island culture with the hotel's regularly scheduled cultural activities or simply relax on the beach or poolside. Each guest room features a refrigerator, color cable television, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. There are three restaurants on the property, including the world famous Duke's Canoe Club, truly the most famous gathering place on Waikiki Beach.
